TUITION POLICIES
1. Registration fee and monthly tuition is non-refundable.
2. Tuition due by the 8th of each month. Tuition received after the 8th of the month will incur a $10 late payment. Late payments are accruable. Students may not participate in class if the previous month’s tuition has not been paid.
3. Full payment of tuition is due regardless of absence and holidays. If you cannot come in to pay, then you may mail a check or call to pay by phone.
4. Monthly tuition has been prorated to allow for all Holidays and months containing five weeks. There is not a tuition reduction or make-up class for the Holidays we are closed.
5. There is a $30 returned check fee.
6. We accept payments by cash, check and Visa/Mastercard/Discover. We also have an automatic draft system for credit cards, or can accept by phone.
7. 30 days of written notice, given to the front office, is required to drop a class.
SCHOOL POLICIES
1. Students must arrive and be picked up promptly. (We are responsible for students during class time only.) Students whose ride is later than 10 minutes after class hours will be charged $1.00 per minute.
2. Students must be in required dance attire in order to attend class. See “Class Attire.”
3. Classrooms are closed. Parent Observation will be held once each season. We ask that parents observe their child’s class during these designated times only. We prefer student undivided attention so that we can offer the best possible class and the kids will get the most out of their time.
4. Parents and students must pick up after themselves. Please leave the waiting area, dressing rooms, and parking lot free of trash.
5. Students waiting to be picked up are asked to wait INSIDE the building.
6. Students must abide by “Classroom Etiquette” posted in each studio.
7. Gossiping among students and parents is not permitted. If you have a question or need to discuss something, please feel free to call us!
RECITAL POLICIES
1. If participating in Recital, a Recital Fee of $45 is due by Saturday, November 5th. You will not have to buy tickets. *This fee is not refundable.
2. In order to participate in Recital, students must attend class(es) consistently and consecutively. If at any time a student has multiple absences, a teacher may require private lessons to continue participation.
3. Costume fee due on or before Saturday, December 10, 2010. Costumes are $65 for a child size, $75 for an adult size. We will accept payments toward costumes anytime before the due date. Costume selections will be posted by Monday, November 21. *This fee is not refundable.
4. A late fee of $15.00 will be added to all costumes ordered after Saturday, December 10, 2010. It will be received as a “new order” and there is no guarantee that it will arrive in time for Recital Photo Sessions and/or Recital.
5. If needed and the costume company allows, costumes may be exchanged for another size with up to a $15.00 Exchange Fee payable to Kathy Marfin’s Dance School. Kathy Marfin’s DanceSchool is not responsible for the Exchange Fee.
6. There must be no outstanding balance on your account in order to receive your costume(s) and/or participate in Recital.
