The Leading Edge Dance Company (formerly Kathy Marfin’s Dance School Competition Team) has participated in over 20 years of dance Conventions and Competitions as well as performed at many local arenas, including two years with Luminaria, the Alamodome for the San Antonio Builders Expo, The Live Oak 50th Anniversary Celebration, Project Africa, Works-In-Progress, W-I-P Creme, Share the Beat, and San Antonio Dances with San Antonio Dance Umbrella. Over the years, our dancers have earned top ranking awards, including National Grand Winner, Grand Runner-Up, Title awards, Top Studio and Studio Spirit awards from multiple dance competitions.
Membership to the The Leading Edge Dance Company is by invitation only.
Dancers will be evaluated throughout the year on work ethic, attitude, attendance, and technique for consideration and acceptance in the dance company. All invitations to join LEDC will be sent out in the month of May, however acceptance of new members will continue through the first week of August.
